How to cook Sushi Rice

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup sushi rice
  • 1.5 cup water
  • 1/3 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 3 tbsp white sugar
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Wash the rice over three times until the water runs clear. Combine with water in a medium saucepan. And rest it for 30min. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover simmer and cook for 20 minutes. Rice should be tender and water should be absorbed. Rest the cooked rice in a pot for another 10 min before mixing the vinegar mix.
    While rice is cooking, combine vinegar white sugar, and salt. Boil until bubbles dissolve everything and let it cool.
    You can make your Onigirazu with your favorite veggies and meats, or make sushi salad, even more than Sushi!
